
Britney Spears’ sojourn at Las Ventanas resort in Los Cabos, Mexico, in late July, during which she first unveiled her hot bikini body, wasn't a vacation but a pre-arranged, secret and exclusive on-location photo shoot for OK! magazine.
Britney, 26, may be under a conservatorship, but the recovering pop star still has what it takes to earn top dollars while prancing in a bikini on a paid vacation!
Britney has revealed her slimming secrets for the cover story of OK! magazine's upcoming issue, which features photos from her Los Cabos sojourn.
"I'm the healthiest I've been all my life," Britney tells OK!. "My diet has a lot to do with my getting into shape. I have no sugar. I don't eat fruit or even fruit juice because of the sugar. I eat chicken and salmon and rice. I eat avocados. I'll have egg whites for breakfast and sometimes turkey burgers for lunch. I try to do just 1,200 calories a day. It may sound like it's not much, but it's actually a lot of food if you eat the right things."
Britney says she also works out, doing "lots of cardio and weights," five days a week.
A hot body appears to be just the start for Britney's climb back to prime time. She has been nominated for three MTV VMA this year for Piece of Me: Video of the year, Best Pop Video and Best Female Video.
She has recently been spotted honing her dancing skills, heightening speculation that she may perform at the Video Music Awards on September 7.
She has also been working on her new album, a release date for which has yet to be confirmed.
"Britney Spears is spending her summer in the recording studio, working on a brand new album," Jive Records said in a recent statement. "She's working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters and we're very excited about what she's accomplished so far."
